When will my
order arrive?
Answer. We use Canada Express Post. This is usually overnight service for residents within the Lower Mainland Region of British Columbia. It is two
(2) days for the rest of Canada. In the US, we ship air and that takes about a
week (but please do allow for custom delays).
When we process your order, we will send you an order confirmation
e-mail.
Kim Allan takes customer service very seriously. Kim will personally
be in contact with you- and is available to answer any and all of
your questions throughout the delivery (and life) of your KAS
merchandise.

much is shipping?
Answer. Shipping is free for regular
priced items anywhere in North America on all

Sizing
What size do I order if I am ordering Unisex sizes?
Answer. If you are a woman and you normally wear a size medium you will wear a
medium in our unisex sizes. However, if you are a man and you normally wear a size
medium you will wear a size large in our unisex sizes. Men should order
one size larger than they normally wear.
Can men wear the French Cut underwear?
Answer.
Certainly. In fact, our French Cut underwear is
one of our best sellers for men. They fit like a male jockey-- you just need to order a size larger than you normally wear.

Product Care
Do you have any
'caring for silk' tips?
Answer. This special fabric needs special care but it
isn’t difficult to maintain. Our product lines are made with washable silk.
To keep the beauty and life of your silk garments please follow these guidelines in care:
- Use care when using alcohol-based products such as hair spray and perfumes. Apply these before putting on your garments. Wash or dry-clean soon after garment becomes soiled.
- Use
any delicate soap (including shampoo) and cool or warm water. Strong alkaline detergents weaken silk. NO BLEACH.
- Soak stains in cool water as quickly as possible.
- Use of a lingerie bag will protect your garments. Pack garments loosely in bag.
- Do not wring out, use a light squeeze or roll in a towel to squeeze out moisture.
Can I put my silk garments in the washing machine?
Answer. Yes, you can use the washing machine, but like any product they will last longer if hand washed. Do
not use really hot or really cold water, it will shock the silk.
Can I use the dryer?
Answer. No, silk hates that kind of heat. It will eventually disintegrate if put in the dryer too often. It dries very fast by just hanging it, out of direct sunlight. Do not hang over a heat register.
Sometimes my silk garments become stiff after washing, how do I soften it to its original state?
Answer. You can add a little hair conditioner to the water after washing it.
If my silk underwear gets a run in them what should I do?
Answer. Dab the run with clear nail polish and that will stop it from getting worse.
Are silk garments good for traveling?
Answer. Kim Allan Silk products are excellent for traveling. You can wash the silk with shampoo and hang it up to dry. It will be ready the next morning. Also, you can roll the garments into small spaces and it will look great when unpacked. The loungewear gown and robe are especially popular for traveling.
